Derek Jeter misplays Jacoby Ellsbury’s pop fly in the 8th.
That title is straight from Joe Castiglione’s radio call.
But Dustin Pedroia strikes out. Inning over.
Oddly, Joe Girardi brought Mariano Rivera in after Jonathan Albaladejo got one strike on Ellsbury.

I have nothing good to say about Girardi’s managing in that game. The Yanks had their opportunities, including bases loaded, no outs. Also, Joba was lucky to pick up all those double plays in jams. They eluded not their just desserts. Bums.
